Preparation Instructions:
Eliza from Augusta Maine sent me this warm potato salad recipe for publishing. To get started, first you will want to peel all of your potatoes, and then place them in a boiling pot with a pinch of salt. Bring the potatoes to a boil, and then let them cook until they are tender. Once done, remove them from the pot and let them cool off. Once cool enough to handle, chop up the potatoes, and place them into a salad bowl. Next stir into the bowl the diced green olives, and chopped Vidalia onion. Next take out a second smaller mixing bowl, and whisk together the real mayonnaise, table salt, coarse ground black pepper, sweet and hot mustard, and cayenne pepper. Once your sauce is nice and creamy, stir it into the salad bowl with the potatoes. Mix the salad up until your have an even distribution of ingredients. You are all set to serve the salad, and the potato pieces should still be warm from boiling them. Cheers, and thanks for visiting our site.
